Who Gives a Crap

Toilet paper

Who Gives a Crap is a toilet paper company who not only make TP softer than a baby’s bum, but they also donate 50% of all profits to sanitisation projects around the world. Win win, really.
They’re a remote working company and so being a part of the WGAC team meant collaborating with people from all over the world, across a bunch of different projects. It was multi-tasking and problem solving at its finest.
As a designer if you can make toilet paper fun, you can make anything fun. Here’s what I collaborated on in preparation to launching into the UK and US markets.

Packaging refresh

Who Gives a Crap is all about collaboration so when we wern't making bum jokes
or debating whether someone was a folder or a scruncher we were designing
this fancy new bamboo & recyled toilet paper for your b-hind.

Who Gives A Crap Website Refresh

Who Gives a Crap was busy launching globally in the US and UK markets, so it was time for a website overhaul. I worked closely on the design side, making sure we were being quick, scrappy and utilising our team resources to the best of our ability.

Impact Update

Who Gives a Crap is super transparent with where their
donation dollars are going, and so when we hit the big
$1 million donation target a celebratory piece of
communication was needed. We brainstormed hard
and came up with a fun, engaging impact statement
in collaboration with Yell Desgin

Timor-Leste
project scout

Did you know more people in the world have mobiles than toilets? That’s a real stat. I acted as a WGAC ambassador and visited a WaterAid project that we were supporting. My job was to document the journey and translate my learnings into bite-sized design pieces to help people understand the sanitisation world.

Who Gives A Crap Xmas Limited Edition

All aboard the collaboration train! This was a very satisfying project to see through from start to finish. We collaborated with a bunch of different artists on our ‘Naughty and Nice’ toilet paper designs and pushed the concept out across multi-platforms. I worked on the site, directed the photoshoot and got that good creative rush that comes from seeing our baby head out into the wild.
Artists who designed the wrappers include: Alex Trochut, Luke Lucas,The Letterettes, Gemma O-Brien, Timothy Goodman&Timba Smits.
